G Skill Ripsaws are famous for being amazing. Sure, they are the Pepsi to HyperX's Coke. So slightly less popular, slightly cheaper generally.
But in this case we have a real bargain, I can't believe that in 2020 I could be buying 16 GB of SODIMM DDR3 Ripjaws RAM for only $70. Sure, it's running at 1600 MHz compared to our #1 picking which runs at 2133. But your getting some amazing savings while only sacrificing a relatively small amount of performance.
Ripjaws are great for overclocking, and there's no lack of forum threads to help root out common issues.
Also, these keep the premium feel and build that you'd expect from much more expensive products. The aluminum heat distribution fins add a nice touch and help keep your laptop cool when you need it the most.

We received and email that read: “I'm just a normal guy with a normal computer. I believe that if I upgrade my laptop from 4GB to 16GB of RAM I'd have a better computer.
