FAQs

What is RAM?

RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It’s used for short term purposes, to ‘hold information’ in a way that is fast, but not long term. Sometimes a good way to understand something is to oppose it. RAM memory is different than ‘hard drive memory’ in that our hard drive is like our long term memories. They can be hard to draw up and hard to remember. To read more, see our What is RAM page.

DDR5.com Reviews

As part of our commitment to being the best RAM resource on the internet, we are providing in depth reviews on the best Brands and Models of RAM available for sale on sites like amazon.
See Reviews

Prices quoted are based on buying a single module of 8 GB. The reviews we write are based on value. So if you see a review where we give some memory a 3 star based on a price of $100 and you find that module at $50, then you should consider that RAM over a 3 star reviewed piece which costs $75 normally and doesn't have any discount.
